Mitzvah Day – Tikkun Olam

Many Jewish Communities have 1 Mitzvah day a year – we do at least 3! For the natural world, for our own community and with CCJ for social action. This is our first one of the year – literally repairing the world – the natural world. We’ve helped at Pensthorpe Natural Park several times. They’re always very grateful and generous.
As usual, we will help for a couple of hours in the morning, have lunch together in the Courtyard Cafe and then you may spend the rest of the day looking around lovely, interesting Pensthorpe. There’s something for everyone. Although we’re doing outdoor work, there are levels from easy to strenuous. Please wear sturdy shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting grubby. Gloves & tools are provided. There’s a great area for young people. Have a look at the website www.pensthorpe.com
