Sukkot

Please do join our community and Rabbi Leah for our Sukkot service.  This is a diverse event with people of different faiths and ethnicities – with a service & outside celebration of this harvest festival.  We are very pleased that Dee Robinson will tell us about New Routes Integration a Norwich charity which we support.

We will erect our Sukkah (booth) outside the Old Meeting House and Rabbi Leah will lead the service and then we will honor the customs inside the Sukkah. If it rains, we can retreat inside, but Rabbi Leah has pointed out, it is traditional to lead the service in the “outside booth”.

Come along from 10:30 help decorate the Sukkah with fruits, twigs and foliage. It’s always good fun putting the fruits in small nets and hanging them from the roof of the Sukkah, as well as shaking the lulav. Rabbi Leah will commence the service at 11:30.

We’ll have a light meal of fruit afterwards.
