Followed by breaking the fast
Sukkot Saturday, 19 October

10am – 2pm

*We will walk to the River Wensum and symbolically cast away our sins of the past year.

If you are not a member of NLJC but would like to join us for any of the High Holy Days please contact Venetia Strangwayes-Booth, our Hon Treasurer about purchasing a ticket. You can email her via the contacts page to request her postal address. Tickets are £20 per adult. Members of other Liberal Judaism synagogues may apply for a free ticket.

PRAYER BOOKS    A limited number of congregational copies of Liberal Judaism’s High Holy Days prayer books “Machzor Ruach Chadashah” are available, however we encourage you to bring your own copy, which can be ordered from Liberal Judaism by contacting Alexandra Simonon email: a.simonon@liberaljudaism.org

YIZKOR If you have had a bereavement in your family you should contact Byron Simmonds (via the contacts page) for inclusion in the Memorial Service. Yizkor will be said for anyone who has passed away during the year, as well as special requests.

KOL NIDRE APPEAL Beneficiaries: New Routes Integration a local charity supporting & empowering migrants; promoting cross-cultural integration & community awareness.  Hagar Jewish/Arab Education for Equality which aims to facilitate social change through bilingual, educational and community programming in southern Israel.
