The Norwich Liberal Jewish Community is a registered charity and depends on its members to remain financially viable as an organisation and a community.
We rely on volunteers for everything from Kiddush to Hebrew lessons to running events and services. However, we have always placed importance on engaging a rabbi professionally to lead our community and services.
Despite a huge input from members, we still require sufficient funds every year to hire the Old Meeting House, insurance on our valuable scroll (rescued after the second world war in what was then Czechoslovakia), fees to engage our rabbi and be affiliated with Liberal Judaism, and costs to run some events.
Any donations you make to NLJC attracts gift aid if you are a UK taxpayer: for every £1 you donate, NLJC can claim 25 pence from HMRC boosting your donation by 25%.
If you wish to donate to the Norwich Liberal Jewish Community, do please contact council or our treasurer from the drop down menu on the online contact form. Alternatively, do feel free to speak to a member of council. No donation is too small.
