Annual Martin Buber Lecture

25 July 2017 @ 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM

The Annual Martin Buber Lecture (Council For Christians and Jews)

CCJ are immensely fortunate to have as their speaker Rabbi Alexandra Wright, senior Rabbi to the Liberal Jewish Congregation in St. John’s Wood.  She is a strong supporter of CCJ.

She will talk about ’What can Bach’s St. John Passion do for Jewish-Christian Relations?’  One might imagine the challenge it presents for an observant Jew, let alone a rabbi!  It would be good to have a large audience for such a distinguished guest so please come and bring your friends.

Entrance £4.00 to include refreshments.

Martin Buber was an Austrian born Israeli Jewish philosopher of dialogue, a form on existentialism centered on the distinction between the I-Thou and the I-It relationship.
