The Norwich Progressive Jewish Community (NPJC) is a registered charity and depends on its members to remain financially viable as an organisation and a community.
We rely on volunteers for everything from Kiddush to Hebrew lessons to running events and services. However, we have always placed importance on engaging a rabbi professionally to lead our community and services.
Despite a huge input from members, we still require sufficient funds every year to hire the Old Meeting House, insurance on our valuable scroll (rescued after the second world war in what was then Czechoslovakia), fees to engage our rabbi and be affiliated with the Movement for Progressive Judaism, and costs to run some events.
Any donations you make to NPJC attracts gift aid if you are a UK taxpayer: for every £1 you donate, NPJC can claim 25 pence from HMRC boosting your donation by 25%.

You will need to have an account and nominate Norwich Liberal Jewish Community as your charity. Please note, that currently we are still registered as Norwich Liberal Jewish Community until our name change takes full effect.
