Welcome to the Norwich Progressive Jewish Community (formerly Norwich Liberal Jewish Community, and before that, the Progressive Jewish Community of East Anglia). We are members of the Movement for Progressive Judaism and are a friendly, welcoming community that values visits from non-members to our services and events.
In between Shabbat service weekends we offer a variety of events, such as celebrating festivals, Shabbat lunches with an educational input and social evenings. We celebrate a communal second-night Seder for Passover.
We also offer religious ceremonies for weddings, funerals, baby blessings, Bar/Bat Mitzvah and Kabbalat Torah. Members receive a monthly newsletter.
