Mitzvah Day Tikkun Olam

Please join us on our wildlife Tikkun Olam Mitzvah day at Pensthorpe Nature Park. They always need volunteers whom they value greatly.  Pensthorpe Nature Park has gone from strength to strength under Deb and Bill Jordan’s management (Jordan’s cereals).

A large reed bed is now being developed. We can (literally) be at the cutting edge helping Nature in Norfolk.

It will be like gardening and sturdy shoes or work boots and gardening gloves will be suitable.  We’ll be planting reeds on the edge of the large pond called Old Squaw Lake – for a couple of hours.

We’ve been to Pensthorpe Nature Park on a number of occasions and are always graciously welcomed.  We’ve again been offered lunch at staff prices (AFTER helping out!). We plan also to have a short chat on tzedakah.

You can make a day of it, with no entry fee.  Have a look around at the (wild)life after lunch and/or go to the fantastic new natural ROOTZ active play area.
