Sukkot Service

This year we’re holding a special Sukkot service. As part of our harvest celebration, we’ve invited people from different faith groups to share in the festivities with us. There will be a small open service & people will have an opportunity to celebrate the harvest with us.
We will erect our Sukkah outside the Old Meeting House and Rabbi Leah will lead the service from inside the Sukkah. If it rains, we can retreat inside, but as Rabbi Leah points out, it is traditional to lead the service in the “outside booth”.
The Sukkah will be put up earlier, but from 10:30 help decorate the Sukkah with fruits, twigs and foliage. It’s always good fun putting the fruits in small nets and hanging them from the roof of the Sukkah. Rabbi Leah will commence the service at 11:30.
We’ll have a light meal of fruit afterwards.
