Day of Celebration – Liberal Judaism
Every other year Liberal Judaism hosts a Day of Celebration when our communities come together to celebrate Liberal Judaism. The 2017 Day of Celebration will take place on Sunday 11 June at Northwood & Pinner Liberal Synagogue. Look on Liberal Judaism website for more information and to book a place. It is extremely lucky that Stephan Melzak, an award winning children's song writer, will be visiting Norwich and will be at the Earlham Road Synagogue. The CCJ AGM has been brought forward in order to accommodate the July speaker. CCJ are very pleased that Steve Pank has offered to speak on ‘Early Christianity in Britain’. Steve Pank is a valued member of CCJ and supports CCJ events. This will be a very interesting talk. Everyone is welcome to this event, but only members are allowed to vote. There is no charge for the AGM.

The Annual Martin Buber Lecture (Council For Christians and Jews) CCJ are immensely fortunate to have as their speaker Rabbi Alexandra Wright, senior Rabbi to the Liberal Jewish Congregation in St. John’s Wood. Heritage Open Day
Norwich Liberal Jewish Community and Norwich Hebrew Congregation are pleased to again hold our joint exhibit at the Earlham Road synagogue on the first day of Norwich & Norfolk Heritage weekend. The up-dated display shows the history of Jews in Norfolk to date. The exhibit will show aspects of Jewish observance and custom. Please do come along.
