Monthly Shabbat Service
Please join Rabbi Charley Baginsky and our community at the Old Meeting House for our monthly Shabbat service. Ordained Cantor Gershon Silins is expected to join us as well. We are delighted that the service will include Max's Bar Mitzvah. Our services are always followed by a sociable Kiddush. Your chance to mix and mingle. The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, will be at the Norwich Hebrew Congregation (NHC) on Wednesday, 7 November 2018, at 12:00 noon. If you wish to be there at the NHC to join the congregation to welcome the Archbishop to Jewish community of Norwich, please contact Annie Henriques.

Please join us for Engaging with Judaism. The theme will be music and Cantor Gershon Silins will encourage everyone who attends to find their singing voice. We will learn some songs from the siddur. Our Cheder meets in the Peill Room before our monthly Shabbat Service. The Kabbalat Torah group is planned for alternate years. These include learning about festivals, Shabbat, basic Hebrew, the Torah, values of Liberal Judaism and much more. We welcome enquiries. Suffolk Liberal Jewish Community are holding a Shabbat Service on Saturday, 17 November at the Friends Meeting House, Fonnereau Road, in Ipswich. Full address below next to the map. Community Chanukah Celebration
Please come and join us with Cantor Gershon in the Peill Room for a social evening of celebration, lighting the candles, retelling the story, asking any questions, and singing the songs. We'll also design some chanukiot, and of course, eat food and chat. We'll provide nosh - latkes, suf ganyot and drinks.
