This year our community celebrated Sukkot on Saturday, 22 October at the OMH. The weather held (just) long enough for us to spend time outdoors in our sukkah. Here are some photos to enjoy.
Children helping to decorate the sukkah.
Rabbi Leah leading shabbat morning services.
Always a joy to see the children and adults on the bimah to watch our rabbi read from the Torah scroll.
Rabbi Leah holding an etrog and lulav, explaining the symbolism of these two important items.
Rabbi Leah waving the etrog and lulav in the 4 directions.
Blessings over the challah. Actually, challot given the number of loaves you can see.
Clive Lewis MP for Norwich South visits the congregation for Sukkot. Rabbi Leah shows him our Torah scroll after a photo in our sukkah.
And finally, a lovely group photo of members of our community with our rabbi and local MP.
