The Jewish Book Group meets once every six weeks or thereabouts. Meetings are relaxed. Nothing too serious. In fact, nothing serious at all. It's all about getting out and having a friendly chat. Shehechiyanu – Children and Families event
PJ Library invites you to Norwich Synagogue to celebrate the new school and play year - Shehechiyanu - with arts, crafts, stories, song and games and lunch. There is a free book for children under 8. Members of Norwich Liberal Jewish Community and Norwich Hebrew Congregation will again join together at the Norwich Synagogue to display Judaism in Norwich and Norfolk. There will be exhibits, displays and several talks of Jewish practices, the history and current Jewish communities. Interfaith Choir Concert
For interfaith week a pop-up interfaith choir will be singing songs from different religious traditions. Rehearsals are taking place on Monday evenings at 7 pm at the Spiritualist Church in Norwich, led by an experienced choir leader. So the concert at the Anglican Cathedral should be good!! Chanukah Party
We're pleased to announce this year's Chanukah Party, a joint Norwich Liberal Jewish Community & Norwich Hebrew Congregation event. Please do come along and bring your Chanukia and any musical instrument - tambourine, drums, guitar, your voice, etc. There will be food, of course, and the event is for adults as well as children. Holocaust Memorial Day Service
From the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust (www.hmd.org.uk): Holocaust Memorial Day takes place on 27 January each year.
