Kabbalat Shabbat
Members of our splendid lay leader team will lead us in a Kabbalat Shabbat service for Friday evening. After this (over dessert) we can talk about singing in our community and come up with helpful ideas. Please do come along and share welcoming shabbat with us. Hebrew for Adults
In addition to (pre-b'nei mitzvah) Hebrew for young people NLJC has Hebrew for Adults. At present this takes place prior to our monthly Shabbat service at 10:00 a.m. in the OMH. It caters for people with different levels of Hebrew. We are delighted that this was initiated by one of our lay leaders, Emily. We have Hebrew for young people regularly starting at 11:15. We are delighted that this is run by young people (Lily & Ollie) for young people. PJ Library invites you to Norwich Synagogue to celebrate the new school and play year - Shehechiyanu - with arts, crafts, stories, song and games and lunch. There is a free book for children under 8. Members of Norwich Liberal Jewish Community and Norwich Hebrew Congregation will again join together at the Norwich Synagogue to display Judaism in Norwich and Norfolk. There will be exhibits, displays and several talks of Jewish practices, the history and current Jewish communities.
